BREAK GENDER STEREOTYPE, GIVE TALENT A CHANCE


Raising the awareness of companies about combating gender stereotypes (financed by the European Commission, DG Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities and managed by the International Training Centre of the ILO in partnership with the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES) 2009.

This project is an EU initiative to help SMEs harvest the economic and social benefits of gender equality in the workplace. The initiative offers SMEs training and tools which help them gain in productivity and competitiveness by valuing the talent of their female and male employees. Participation in the activities is free for institutions, businesses and individuals, who offer support, training and consultancy to SMEs in the areas of organizational management, quality, and human resources management.

Chambers of Commerce and SME support institutions in 27 EU countries plus Iceland and Norway promote this initiative, which is commissioned by the European Commission, DG Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities in the framework of the contract “Raising awareness of companies about combating gender stereotypes” managed by the International Training Centre of the ILO in partnership with the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBERS).
