Project description
The main theme of this project is the trial operationalization of the European Digital Competence Framework for Educators ("DigCompEdu"), including the assessment of existing competences of trainers/teachers and the provision of in-house training, including the production of new training materials.
The project is based on 3 work packages:
1. Assessment: On the basis of DigCompEdu's 22 competence fields, partner institutions will determine those competences which should be given medium term priority in internal staff development. An assessment of existing staff competences on the identified competence fields will be carried out with existing or newly developed tools. The target group for the assessment consists of trainers / teachers.
2. Training: Training modules will be developed according to the chosen priority competence fields and the results of the assessment. The developed modules will be piloted and the learning outcome evaluated. The tailor-made trainings give trainers / teachers and institutions the possibility to strengthen their digital competences and apply them in their daily work for specific educational settings.
3. Dissemination: Information on the Learning Path project (activities, results), on similar projects and other applications of DigCompEdu will be provided on the projects online dissemination platform/website. A community of interested stakeholders will be established. Social media and content offers such as webinars will be used.
